    • Email communications with your employee regarding the laptop return, including up to 3 reminders if they delay returning their laptop

    • Tracking updates sent to your company email address

    • Retriever Enterprise is a great fit for organizations that need to manage many laptop and monitor returns and are looking for enhanced tracking capabilities.

    • When you open an Enterprise account, you get access to the Retriever portal (images above), a centralized hub where you can:

      • Quickly set up laptop and monitor returns

      • Track the status of your device returns in a dashboard

      • Save default device return settings (like your company return addresses) to save you time on each device return

      • Invite team members to easily collaborate on device returns

    • Our Enterprise service also includes access to the Retriever API so you can build integrations with other tools that you already use to manage employee devices (like Workday, Okta, Jira and Zapier).

    • We have a minimum of 10 prepaid device returns to open your Enterprise account.

    • Prepay for a batch of laptop returns via an invoice:

      • 10 or more laptop returns: $95/return

      • 50 or more laptop returns: $85/return (save $10/return)

      • 250 or more laptop returns: $75/return (save $20/return)

    • Prepay for a batch of monitor returns via an invoice:

      • 10 or more monitor returns at $195/return

      • 50 or more monitor returns at $185/return (save $10/return)

      • 250 or more monitor returns at $175/return (save $20/return)

    • Prepay for a batch of Canadian laptop returns via an invoice:

      • 10 or more laptop returns at $145/return

      • 50 or more laptop returns at $135/return (save $10/return

    • Prepaid device returns do not expire; you can use them over time and monitor your balance in the portal. No setup fees, subscriptions, or recurring commitments.

    • All invoices are payable by credit card. Invoices for 50 or more device returns are also payable by ACH / wire transfer.

    • We offer an optional insurance add-on for carrier loss, theft, and damage of device return shipments to give you extra peace of mind. You can learn more about our insurance add-on here.

  • Please complete our Onboarding Form to sign up for Retriever Enterprise. Within 1 business day of receiving your form submission, our team will send you an invoice and activate your account. We look forward to working with you!

FAQs

  • We do not have any monthly or yearly minimums. To open a Retriever Enterprise account, we require prepaying for a batch of device returns (with a minimum of 10 returns). The prepaid device returns do not expire; you can use them over time and monitor your balance in the portal.

    When your prepaid balance gets low (or when you run out of device returns), you can request the next batch (any quantity, with a minimum of 10 returns for adding to an existing account) within the portal Billing section.

  • When your prepaid balance gets low (or when you run out of device returns), you can buy more device returns by credit card in the Retriever portal (or by requesting an invoice in the portal).

    Paying by credit card is the fastest way to get the prepaid device returns added to your account. If you request an invoice, the prepaid device returns will be automatically added to your account once we receive your invoice payment.

  • Our service is designed to deliver value, flexibility, and time savings so you can easily manage device returns based on your company’s specific needs. We don’t have any long-term contracts for using our service.

    • Our padded laptop box fits most laptops up to 16” and a cell phone, charger (or other charger-sized accessories) in the accessories tray.

      • Minimum supported device dimensions: 11” x 7” x 0.5”

      • Maximum supported device dimensions: 15.125” x 10.25” x 1”

      • Accessories tray dimensions: 15.75” x 3.5” x 1.5” (note that the accessories tray is not padded)

    • If you would like your employee to return the cell phone and/or charger, please request it when placing your order and we will include a reminder in the packing / shipping instructions that are sent in the laptop box.

  • In order to help you collaborate with your team and save valuable time and effort, there is no limit on the number of portal users for your organization.

  • Yes! We currently support SSO via Google and SAML 2.0 integration with Okta

  • As part of our ongoing commitment to providing top-notch security, we maintain a SOC 2 Type 2 certification, most recently completed on January 17th, 2024. Safeguarding customer data and privacy is our top priority. You can learn more about our security and privacy practices here.

  • We use USPS or UPS to ship the device return kit to your employee.

    We use UPS or FedEx to ship the device from your employee back to your company destination address.

  • We ship the laptop return kit to your employee within 1 business day of receiving your order. It typically takes 2-3 days for the kit to arrive at your employee’s address, and typically an additional 2-3 days for the laptop return shipment to arrive at your company address once your employee ships it. Note that transit times may be a bit faster or slower depending on carrier shipping volumes.

    While we can’t guarantee how long your employee will take to ship their laptop, our service is thoughtfully designed to help your employee return the laptop as quickly and safely as possible.

  • We communicate with your employee via email throughout the process to help make sure that your device gets returned promptly and safely.

    Once you set up a device return, we ship a box to your employee within 1 business day. We will notify your employee (if you provide their email address) as soon as the box ships, which can be as soon as within an hour of your order (and always within 1 business day).

  • We offer an optional insurance add-on for carrier loss, theft, and damage of device return shipments to give you extra piece of mind. In the event that a device return shipment gets lost in transit, we will provide instructions and supporting documentation to help you file a claim with our insurance provider.

  • Our monitor return box fits most 23-27” monitors with the stand and cables. The monitor stand must separate into two parts (an arm and a base) in order to fit into our box.

    To open a Retriever Enterprise account, we require prepaying for a batch of device returns (with a minimum of 10 returns). The minimum cost to open an Enterprise account with 10 laptop returns is $950 (10 x $95/laptop return). Volume discounts are available starting at 50 or more device returns on an invoice (see Pricing & billing above). We also offer an optional insurance add-on; you can learn more here.

  • Our Starter service is a great fit for teams that need occasional laptop returns or want to trial our service. You can set up one-off laptop returns as you need them, charged to your credit card when you place an order.

  • We have carefully designed our email communications to make the laptop return process easy and hassle-free for the employee returning the device. As a result, we do not support customizing our email communications at this time.

  • Our device return service is thoughtfully designed to help your employee return their device quickly and safely. We send them email reminders throughout the process, and we provide easy packing / shipping instructions to take the guesswork out of the return process. We are proud to have an extremely high success rate.

    In the event that an employee doesn’t return their device after we have sent them all 3 reminders, we will let you know that we have sent our final reminder. At that point, we suggest that you contact your employee directly to discuss the delay.

  • Laptop returns

    We currently ship to all US and Canadian addresses, excluding PO boxes, US territories, and the Canadian provinces of Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. Support for the UK and the EU is on our roadmap.

    Monitor returns

    We support monitor returns within the lower 48 US states.

  • We provide a REST API, which you can use from any system that allows outbound HTTPS requests. Common uses of our API are integrations with an HRIS system or an ITAM system; these integrations allow you to automatically send a laptop return box when an employee is being offboarded or needs a device upgrade / repair.

    API access is automatically included with all Retriever Enterprise accounts. You can manage your API keys in the portal, and you can view our API docs here.

  • Yes! Some platforms our customers have built integrations with are Workday, JIRA Service Desk, and Oomnitza, to name a few.

    Our Zapier integration can be used to connect Retriever with over 6,000 commonly used platforms.
