Insurance add-on for device returns

Retriever offers an optional insurance add-on through EasyPost for carrier loss, theft, and damage of device return shipments to give you extra peace of mind.

Overview

  • By electing to purchase insurance coverage, you agree to the EasyPost Shipping Insurance Conditions. You will file any claims directly with EasyPost. In the event that you need to file a claim, please email help@helloretriever.com for instructions and/or assistance with supporting documentation. We’re here to help.

  • We require a signature upon delivery for all insured packages. Signature confirmation is automatically included in your purchase of insurance.

  • For damage claims, EasyPost requires a photo of the device prior to shipping. Please make sure to have your employee take a photo and send it to you if you would like to be covered in this scenario. Note that our device return boxes are extremely sturdy and well-padded, and our included packing/shipping instructions are designed to help your employee pack their device securely.

  • Claims for carrier loss or theft do not require a photo of the device prior to shipping.

Insurance tiers & pricing

If you would like to purchase insurance coverage, please select one of the following tiers for your batch of prepaid device returns when signing up for Retriever Enterprise or adding more returns to your account:

  • Up to $1,000 of coverage per device return: $10/return

  • Up to $2,000 of coverage per device return: $20/return

  • Up to $3,000 of coverage per device return: $30/return

  • Up to $4,000 of coverage per device return: $40/return

  • Up to $5,000 of coverage per device return: $50/return
